I get chrome corruption but haven't had content corruption in a long time. It is available for download. If you can verify it and want me to open a new bug report let me know. In a moment when issue happens, those apps were on: meteor process, mongodb, robomongo, charles debug proxy, genymotion emulator, few more terminals with fish shell, chrome and 2 instances of vscode. The Chrome console is blank now we have resolved the mixed content. Previously only the occasional and easy to ignore squares appeared, now Firefox is essentially rendered unusable after a while.
But unfortunately I don't expect them to do that. This bug report was happening in 2013 and direct2d1. I've seen this bug before, but never through terminal services. Also of interest: Steam uses DirectText for its rendering. I don't use those apps so I can't test it personally on my end. However it still shows itself. I also just discovered that when I get corruption I can clear it by clicking on something outside of Fx and then click on Fx to get focus again. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. I only see the black squares problem once in a while now. I'm using the latest 64-bit version of Chrome on Windows 7.
I use the hourlies so it's possible that some bug fix in the hourlies 'fixed' the problem for me. Always when I click wherever on Fx, the corruptions are gone. I am on Windows 8 but have observed the problem on my other partition Win7 as well. The only fixes that worked for me where the following. I do still get repeatable content corruption. If you are unable to abide by this simple request, or if your only submissions are to the same sites over and over, or to your personal site s , you will be banned.
While not yet general availability, that's a wide release. I have been fighting the problem of the black boxes for so long I cannot think of when the problem began. I have yet to see it re-appear after setting gfx. Rectangular black boxes of all shapes and sizes appear randomly on my computer screen on various websites, sometimes many of these solid black boxes appear at the same time, sometimes just one, sometimes they flicker like crazy on and off, sometimes they stay fixed on the page. In my case the corruption is not repeatable. For most Web content D2D is not a clear win. But as long as I can properly keep my computer without it dying so that I can continue to work on it efficiently, I won't utter a whole lot more than that.
I made inquiries in other places realizing it was strictly a browser issue. If it doesn't then the browser isn't wide enough. No one wants their modern video card blacklisted. Thank goodness this can be overridden if you know how. I've set half my users to allow this domain and we'll see how it goes from there. As said, I no longer see these glitches. I'm currently on Catalyst 13.
I have had that exact problem plus the black squares but have not seen the problem from your screen shot since upgrading to Firefox 18. Things like the title bar, Nav bar, bookmarks bar will become, in part, the color I chose in Windows Personalization for title bar and borders. Regression doesn't seem to be a factor since going to older builds showed the issue as well. For me beta 6 didn't update drivers. Much more frequent on Catalyst 13.
Using mozregression, I've actually been able to pinpoint a possible fix: On affected Firefox builds, visiting www. Running Fx23 Nightlies at the moment. On many builds it is minor and takes work to get it to show but on the current stable it shows up horribly. The remedy then was replacement of memory modules or chips on the graphics cards or the mainboard. I've done the second step just thought of it and sent a tweet to CatalystCreator to see if they are aware of it and to make them aware of this bug report over here. Some of these boxes are appearing outside of the main container, whereas some are appearing inline, covering content blocks.
